Differences and Distinctiveness
There's a lot of things that makes me different and distinctive than everyone else. I am unique. I have my own experiences and thoughts. My features make me distinctive. The things that I have been through has made me different, the way my parents raised me made me different, the way I look makes me different. I am smart, kind, helpful, silly, and optimistic in my own way. I think that's the beautiful thing about life.
Things To Be Proud Of
There's also so many things to be proud of myself for. I am proud of the person I have become over the past couple years. I haven't realized until recently how much I have grown mentally and emotionally. If someone were to tell me in 2 years time that my anxiety and nerves would get better, I would've thought you were bluffing. I have gone out of my comfort zone so much within the last few months. I have talked to people that I wouldn't have usually talked to, I started an internship in NYC which included traveling on the train and subway by myself for the first time, met up with new people that I never met in person, and so much more. I am proud of the person I am becoming and even more excited about what the future holds for myself.
Maybe I'll Be Famous
I know my future is bright and maybe I will be well-known or famous for something that I have done. I would like to be famous/well-known for making a impact on human life, such as a activist or something that I have done to make the music industry a better place. I think it would be really cool if the year that I die when I am an elder is a picture of me coming up through the grammy slide show when they pay tribute to those who made a impact on the music industry. I know it may sound morbid or odd but I think it would be great to be recognized for something while I am alive and dead. I would also like to known for starting a music festival like Coachella and having a portion of proceeds go to a different charity/non-profit organization every year. I want to make a positive impact, make people smile, and create a safe space for music lovers to just let go of all of there worries and cry, scream, and laugh if they want to. Everyone had aspirations in life and even those aspirations makes other different than I.
Conclusion
In conclusion, branding is insanely important. If you don't create a brand for yourself and show who you really are, no one is going to take a chance on you. You must put yourself out there even if you're scared. That's what life has taught me so far and I hope this post will help you confront who you are and shine acceptance towards yourself.
